Biblioteca Gambalunga, Gabinetto dei Disegni e delle Stampe


The Gabinetto dei disegni e delle stampe counts more than 6,000 single sheets and numerous other prints gathered in volumes. The collection is mainly dated between the seventeenth and the nineteenth century. The Gabinetto has been enriched through the centuries with the acquisition of the private collection of the canon Zefirino Gambetti (1803-1871), the collection of the archaeologist Adolphe Noel des Vergers (1805-1867) and the the Francolini-Lettimi Collection. The Gabinetto is divided according to themes (prints of local authors, religious prints, reproductive prints, architectural prints, portraits, cartography, views etc.).
